Are annual passes still included in Fairy Tale wedding packages?

Hello everyone! Disneyweddings.com had them included as of last year but all of a sudden this year there is no mention of them being included in the packages! The wedding prices have gone up also, not like that is a big shock. This is very disappointing.

Unfortunately, they are not. Disney reduced the price of the Escape package by $500 when they removed the passes last year (except for the Canada location package, which remains $6,200). Wishes couples no longer get the passes either, though they were never listed as a perk of that collection. They were supposed to be a nice surprise for the couple after they signed their contract.

Oh wow!! I got lucky then when I booked our escape package. So sad. It's definitely a nice little perk. But a savings of $500 is always a good thing??

Hello, the price did not go down at all. We have been planning our wedding for the past 2 years. The Escape package was $5000 last year with free annual passes. This year it is $5000 with no annual tickets. Sounds like the mouse is getting greedy!

In January 2015 they raised the price of the resort locations to $5,500 and the Wedding Pavilion to $6,500. You might not have noticed if your contract was already signed at the old price. Last Fall they quietly lowered those two prices by $500 right around the time they discontinued the annual passes.

Hello, when did you book yours?

I booked mine in August 2015 for our Escape wedding at Yacht Club for April 2016. The price is $5500.00 not including any extra enhancements and included the annual passes.
From when I was debating and going back and forth on the Escape vs. Memories for our wedding/vow renewal, you technically pay for the passes in the pricing that I have. They're really not "free" when you break down
that pricing structure in the Escape. And from what I understand, the new annual passes aren't as "nice" now since they made all those changes. I don't know, that's just what I've figured out for me.

If you live in Florida or go to Disney a lot, the passes are a bonus. If you don't, then really in my opinion, they don't justify the cost- free or not. You're wasting all those days if you only go once a year.
Unless you compare the cost of the passes now compared to what an actual Park ticket costs for your wedding trip?

There's too many scenario's. Really will depend on what is best for you, your needs and your budget.

I just think the "discount" should be better than a dodgy $20 off (which is pretty much the same as Undercover tourist when you're getting multi day hopper etc) for park tickets if they aren't going to give you the pass.

I don't think it was ever a waste as even if it was only worth a single trip our normal visits to Disney are at least 10-14 days so we always get the maximum magic your way plus hopper ticket and then you get the bonus of merchandise discounts etc with an annual pass.

Given I booked my Escape package in November 2015 for Feb 2016 I paid the same price points without that bonus I certainly did miss out...but I only finally got my ring in October ;-)

If we had gotten them we would have kept them for our return trip. We are doing a honeymoon of sorts after the wedding but so much is closed we will return in 2017.
It's not worth fretting over but it is disappointing all the same...

We signed our contract in November and received the annual passes with our Wishes weddings. Glad we snagged those in the nick of time. :worried:
