Are Annual Pass tickets ever discounted?

We've booked the HRH for our May trip with the APH rate. I can get the AP's online now for $180. Is that the best it will be or do they sometimes have deals on the AP's?

Also, if I elect to pick them up at the kiosk will they let me in to do that before checking in?

We got our AP's in 2004 with a coupon from Burger King (in Florida) for buy 1 year get the 2nd free. I know you think we're crazy since we live in Ohio, but it wa worth it for 2 years and as much as we go there. Plus with free parking and all the discounts, we would've been crazy not to get them!!!

Another Ohio family here who got in on the 2 years for the price of one Burger King deal. We did it in Aug. 2003 and when our AP came up for renewal the offer was $99. So, we get AP's for 3 years for less then $300!

That being said, I would not count on the BK deal. It seems they had it in 2003 and 2004, but no sight of it in 2005.

haven't seen anything in the future for AP discounts, we'll see them first in Florida. no offers as of yet. you can check into your resort first, but you'll need to produce the AP or they'll charge you full rate.

In the past, the best deal was the Burger King thing, but it hasn't been around for 2 years.

You'll have to pay full price, and then renew for $109.

I haven't seen any others deals as of now.

I asked the same question to the front desk at the RPR, In order to get the AP rate you have to present an activated Pass at the time of check in. In order to activate the pass you must enter the park atleast one time. If you can do that before check in they will have to give you the rate.
