I have a 3br villa at Boardwalk booked for September. Are all views from the 3 br the same? Is there a choice on bed configurations? What's the best way to stock up on food when you don't have a car?

I believe all the grand villas face the lake and boardwalk.....the layout by what I've seen are the same.....you can find the layout in your points book. When we travel down to WDW I pre-order groceries on gardengrocer.com. They will deliver right to your room and the bell services if your not there yet.

All 3 bedroom grand villas have a view of the boardwalk and cresent lake. There are 2 two story grand villas and 5 one story grand villa (with one of these being handicap accessable). They are all located in the same area over the store on floors 3-6. The 2 story units are located side-by-side under the "Boardwalk" sign in the yellow section with entance on the 5th floor and including the 6th floor. There are 2 one story units below these on the 3rd and 4th. The other three are located in the section closest to the village green on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. Some have reported that the one bedrooms have more space due to not needing a stairway in the unit. If you look at a BW picture you will be able to count out the 6 patio door for each unit. There may be a studio between the two groups of GV's if I'm remembering correctly.
You should report back on your experience in the BW GV!! I would love to stay in one sometime and live vicariously though others!
The other parts of your question have been answered, but I'll offer that there are limo services that will bring you from the airport to BWV and include a stop at a grocery store. If I was coming in without a car, I'd probably do that.

we've done this while staying in a 2 bedroom and it worked out great. I usually use Tiffany Town car services and they have nice 15 person vans also which come in handy when you have enough for a 2 bedroom or GV. We had enough for 8 people , luggage and groceries.
For my group of 5 the total was $110 RT plus tip priced in April. The driver I have had I always request is Berkley. Hes Wonderful! The driver will meet you right as you get off the escalator in baggage. They have a website just do a search for Tiffany Towncar-
A 1/2 hour grocery stop is included in your price. We have been taken over to Publix to shop and it is reasonable- Its in the same plaza as the Timeshare Store-
Enjoy your stay in the Grand Villa! Color me GREEN!
Another option many have had success with is to grocery shop on line and have it delivered to you at your resort. That would allow you to still use ME if that works for you. If you were going pay for transportation anyway, then Tiffany Town Car or other service should be great. Otherwise, I'd be tempted to try the on-line shopping and have it sent in. Many have done this successfully.
