My brother is getting a rental car from ALAMO and I am getting mine from NATIONAL. I know the counters are all on the same level but how about where you pick the car up from? I think they are in the same parking structure? We just want to make sure my brother can follow us to Disney.
You pick out your car from the same lot for Alamo and National. But (I am not sure about this) there may be an Alamo/National lot on the A side of the (Orlando) airport and another on the B side of the airport. A and B are sides (not ends) of an overall rectangular shaped building and you have to go up stairs and back down to get from baggage claim/car rental on one side to the other.
It is not a good idea to have anybody follow you in a car anywhere but it is not a bad idea for you to lead them. You must keep them in sight at all times and slow down/stop if they get behind.
Yes, there is an Alamo/National on both A and B. As a matter of fact, if the line at one side is really long, my husband goes to check the other side...often it's much shorter, and if we only have carryons, I just run over to the shorter side.
