Are 3 nights in AKV Concierge enough?

Hello!

We booked 3 nights in Concierge so that we could go on both the Safari's. I had intended on booking 4 nights (S-TH) but I failed to get up on Sat. to make the call in time! I have waitlisted for the 4th night but with the very tiny amount of Concierge rooms available I doubt I'll get it. I'm really okay with that since we're moving from Savannah view to Concierge to Savannah anyhow.

I'm just curious if you think that we'll have enough time to get both the safari's in as these are really the only reason we've booked Concierge.

We did it w/ 3 days & had no trouble. We did it as a wind down from a long trip and spent more time at the pool & enjoying the resort.

You only need one afternoon and one morning to get both safaris done, why would you even need 3 days?

The sunrise safari is only done on Sundays and Thursdays. I can't remember the days they do sunset or if it is everyday.

The important thing is being there the right nights. As Diane said, the Sunrise Safari is done on Sunday and Thursday mornings. I believe you have to be staying in concierge the night before or the night of the Sunrise Safari to participate. If I'm correct a about that then to do the Sunday morning safari, you have to be booked in concierge Saturday night or Sunday night and to participate on Thursday morning you have to be booked for Wednesday night or Thursday night. Since you were not able to book Wedneday night, you wouldn't be eligible for the Thursday safari. If your Sunday check in makes you eligible for the Sunday morning one, then you will need to be at the AKL by 6am-ish that morning to meet up for the tour.

I'll have to wait to see what the Concierge staff says when they call. I'll just have to hope that we can get in for that last night if it doesn't work out for that Sunday!
