Are 2008 rates not out yet?

If not, when do you think they will be released? I keep getting an error message when trying to plug in October 2008

I've heard June or July sometime.

I keep trying everyday and get the same error message. They say June, July but more likely August is when the 2008 rates will come out. I wish I could book a package now because it makes the countdown to Disney more real.

I totally agree! I can't wait till July or August!! I want to be "official" again. I want to put a ticker in my siggie and all that fun stuff!!

DH and I are planning to go at the end of January. It's really frustrating that I can't book our trip yet. We like to plan in advance - and, to me, 6 months out is the same as the last minute.

Even though we just got back last week I'm already looking about another trip . I tried to plug in Jan 2, 2008 since our kids don't' get out of school for Christmas till 12/21 this year and return on 1/8. I figure maybe take advantage of value season. Kept getting the error message. Then, I tried the AAA site (broke down and joined that today for other reasons), it said no rooms available. I called and a sweet CM said that they don't even have any idea what the rates will be yet. No idea when they'll post. She did say that she thinks that value season will start on 1/1 for deluxe though, FWIW!

You can book a room only reservation for 2008 right now. However you must call Disney to do it. You will be charged a one night deposit based on the current years rate. Then when the real rates and packages are out, you can call and change to a package. If necessary you may need to make a bit more of a deposit, although if the amounts are close they may not ask for more.
