ARDs but no dinning plan yet...

I am booking my 180 out ADRs this week and all I have is a room revervation. I can't book a package yet because as you all know, the rates aren't out yet.

My question is, I noticed that they ask me if I have a meal plan and I say no. Does it matter that I will later when the rates come out? Will I need to call and amend those ADRs to ones with a dinning plan or will it matter?

Also, why do they ask?

You can book your ADR's before reserving the DDP. It won't be a problem at all. It will not affect your current ADR's when you add the plan on later.
I do not know why they ask. I assume it is just a Marketing question.

I did the same thing as you. When I made my reservations, I told the CM that I had not purchased the plan yet but that I would be. She went over the reservations with me as if I had the dining plan. Basically, she just told me how many TS credits were required for each ADR that I made.
