We have planned a day to do archery at FW. My question is on transportation

We will have a car, should we drive and take the internal bus or since we will be at MK take the boat and walk over. Not sure how far of a walk it is from either the entrance to FW or from the boat dock to the bike barn area

We will be doing this in August if that matters

We didn't have a car when we took the kids. We started at the boat launch, wandered over to see the horses and then hopped the internal shuttle. We dropped my Dsis and Dgd off at the horse back riding and then swung back to the bike barn area. It didn't take more than 15 minutes.

As I said, we didn't have a car, but we did see the main entrance and went to the main bus depot. From the main depot, it will take you about 5 minutes are so.

Ps, the boat from the MK is really nice so we really liked this.

Pps. THe archery was super fun!

Hope I helped out a bit

Thanks - I am leaning towards taking the boat but DH is thinking of driving.
I think it will depend on if we are going back to Mk afterwards but I think we will

I'm glad you asked this - DD is planning on doing the archery in September. I hadn't thought about taking the boat but that's a fun option!

So if we take the boat then we need to take the internal bus? It's too far to walk at that point correct?

That is what I am trying to figure out. Archery is at the bike barn area and on the map it doesn't seem to far but maps can be deceiving and I was hoping someone would know how far it is

Moving to Transportation :thumbsup2
Questions about the Resort activities should be posted on the Resorts board :)

We did he boat ( lovely trip!) and then we walked. It was a fair way but not too bad. We entertained ourselves by admiring the decorations people put out. We did however see a snake which crossed our path!!!! A black racer the CM said. Hate snakes!

We took an internal bus to the stop. We just asked the bus driver what stop to get off on. The bike barn area is a 1 minute walk from the stop. When we were finished, we didn't take boat back to the MK, we just hopped on the bus (at the main bus depot) to DTD and transferred from there.
