Arabian Nights, Yay or Nay

No.

The food was awful. Not bad...awful.

The show wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. And we LIKE horses. If EITHER the food OR the entertainment was worth the $23 a person, I would tell you to go for it. But I don't think either is, not even in combination.

Nay...

Only saving grace for this show would have been if they came by more than once after the food was served to refill my beer!

Waste of Orlando time and money!

You had a poor waiter. Ours gave us plenty of refills.

He seemed rude, then we bothered to talk to him and it was obvious that most people are not nice to the waiters here and he did mention that the group over the isle from us was rather drunk and a bit of a handful. So since we were not drunk and nice maybe we got more refills!

I don't mind it there. What can you expect food wise when it is mass produced in a central kitchen for all those people at the same time? For the price, you get food, drinks and an evening out with your family. I have never had rude service, so I can't complain. I prefer Medieval Times, but Arabian Nights is fine too.

Question? How much should you typical tip the server?

Nay from me. I did find tickets on Ebay for really cheap when we went and so at least I didn't pay a lot.

Agree.....all the dinner shows food is just soo soo at best....But it is a evening with the family.....

Bumping, after returning to Arabian Nights for the first time in years. I'll give it a qualified yay--if you can get tickets half-off or better. ;)

The food is clearly the weak link. Potatoes were salty, vegetables were salty, steak was tough--typical "institutional" food, reminded me of steak nights back in college. That said, I think it's a huge exaggeration to call it "inedible." May not be Citricos, but no worse than Golden Corral.

Service was actually quite good. Friendly, attentive. He poured me four beers and I turned down a fifth. Also wasn't pushy with the little notice suggesting a tip.

The show doesn't have much of a plot. It's not really supposed to, tho--this is essentially a circus, and the story is just a framing device to show off the acrobatics and horsemanship. And those were amazing. A few slow spots, but I don't see how anyone could be bored while the "gypsies" jump from horse to horse, or during the Roman chariot race.

All in all, head and shoulders above Pirates Dinner Adventure (in terms of food, service, show, seating), on a par with what I remember of Medieval Times. Don't go for the food, but a fun little show.

Has anyone ever been to the Pirate Dinner Show? Was thinking of taking my daughter there for her 9th Birthday? If anyone has any other suggestions that would be great too!! We have done the Disney Character for the last 3 years so I thought I would try outside this year, we will have a car on the day of her bd. Thanks

:sad2: The food:sad2: Thats why they serve it in the dark:lmao:
The show if you like horses, is great to me( I love horses)!!
But again the food would be scary in the light:scared1:
