Has anyone been to the Arabian Nights dinner show in Orlando? Some has given us 4 free tickets and we wonder if this would be worth our time. Our children (8 & 11) are not particulary horse enthusiasts. TIA

Well, I have horse, Arabians (one even related to some of the horses used in the show) and I totally loved the show. The food was ok, the show was great. If you don't want the tickets, let me know, I would love them. :)

For free I would be racing there! I would love to see this show. We are arriving in Orlando on Sunday and are hoping to do this or at least one of the dinner shows.

I went years ago and loved it. I have to say that I am horse crazy, but I went with my mom and aunt and they aren't and they loved it too. The food was okay, not fantastic, but definitely edible. The show was great and if you have free tickets, I wouldn't pass that up. You don't have to be a horse lover to appreciate it at all. JMHO.

We saw the show about 2 years ago, and it was EXCELLENT! The food was good, and the horses were beautiful! I would definatly go again :)

DH & I went when we got free tickets for viewing a timeshare. We thought it was pretty boring and didn't really enjoy the show. Others in the audience had mixed review - some loved it and some hated it. We loved Medieval Times in California so we'd like to try the one in Florida.

I saw Arabain Nights about about 2 years ago. The show was pretty good, but for me its a once and done thing for me. I am not sure if they changed the show or not but the only thing that turned me off was that its suppose to be about Arabain times and their is this huge American Rodeo section. So if the tickets are free I would go.

From most of the favorable replies, I think we will give it a chance. Any idea how much cab fare from the Universal Area would be? Thanks for all the replies!

Lizal, you're probably looking at around $50 round-trip. I think it is a pretty neat show with OK food. The addition of a wonderful Western comedy act by Gaylord Maynard and his horse Chief Bear Paw is absolutely hilarious, IMHO.

We won free tickets to Arabian Nights in an internet competition(along with a weeks use of a timeshare). We have both owned and kept horses. We have both seen the Disney Buffalo Bill show at Disneyland Paris multiple times.

We generally eat at Cosmic Rays or Macaroni Grill rather than Citricos but found the food lukewarm, flavourless and minimal - we ate at the Missing Link afterwards.

The show is reputed to be the best dinner show in Orlando but had no story that we could determine. Having a dream sequence about the American West because they could not think of anything else "Arabian" to do was REALLY SAD. The horses are not shown as well as an equestrian event, nor in any sense of entertainment for us. We left early and were very grateful that the only cost for us was wasted time.

Some people seem to enjoy it - presumably because the standard is so poor for the other dinner shows. We were probably spoilt by the Buffalo Bill show - after all the real BB show travelled the world 100 years ago.

Just a note that not *everyone* who has seen it even thought it worth free tickets.

Thank you for your honest reply. The free tickets will cost us about 50.00 in cab fare it seems. Not sure if it is still such a good deal. I think we may just wait until we get there and decide. Thanks to all of you for your help!
