Aquatica in November? water too cold?

We are thinking about going to Orlando for Thanksgiving week this year. I know the air temps will still be pretty nice, but what about the water temps? Are the pools heated, or will it be chilly? I am a weenie when it comes to cold water and won't get in if it's cold!

We're planning to get the Platinum Pass at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, so our admission to Aquatica would be free, but we'd also likely take advantage of the Discovery Cove discount offered to PP holders.

On a related note, would it be too cold to swim in our intended resort's pool, since it's not heated?

We were last in Orlando in June 2009 and it was crazy hot, so we're looking forward to a November visit!!

I visited Aquatica in January, and the high temperature that day was around 77 (it was by far the warmest day of our week there). The pools were heated, and the water was wonderfully warm. There was one slide/pool that did not have heated water, and the water was noticeably cool. It wasn't too cold, just not comfortably warm like all the other slides. Maybe that pool's heater was broken or something. With that one exception, I'd say the water was perfect. If the air temperature is warm enough, then don't worry about the water. In fact, when the sun went behind a cloud or later in the day when the sun got lower, and when the breeze blew, we were cool in the air, but the water felt so warm and nice.

Thanks, gardener! Since we'll have the unlimited access passes, maybe we'll just go to Aquatica instead of using the hotel's pool if the water is too chilly!!! Or spend more time in the hot tub.

My wife and I went to Aquatic a year ago from this past November. It was a little chilly out with the wind but the water was perfect, they keep the same temp as the ocean and if not warmer during the colder months. We are going back for our second time next weekend for our little ones first water park trip
