With area schools going back in session, has Aquatica seen a drop in admissions yet? Are they still reaching capacity by 10?

We've got a cabana res for next Wednesday (8/26) and are wondering if it will still be mobbed.

well school here started yesterday and given the local weather right now is kinda anti-water park and will be for 48 hours....I'd say it is a bit early to tell!

But I'd wager the crowd won't be much today....

I got mine a month ago to be safe. I haven't been watching to see if they sell out or how soon. Sorry.

Hi,

We were at Aquatica last Tuesday (also with a Cabana), and although the car park was fairly full when we arrived at 10:30, we had been told that Cabana Rentals can still gain access even if the park is full.

The queues were not unreasonably long for the rides (except for Dolphin Plunge), and after a storm around 1pm, the park emptied noticeably, with wait times for most rides down to between 5 and 15 minutes (except Dolphin Plunge) - by 6pm, even Dolphin Plunge only had 5 minute waits.

We were there Monday. We got in around 8:15 AM. I had a small wait for the plunge, which I did first thing. When we left at 3 the park was still open to new admissions. The lines were reasonable all day, allowing that after lunch, as the lines were building, we were in the wave pools.

My opinions on the park? The Dolphin Plunge is a great idea, but at least for me it wasn't worth it. The tube rides near the plunge were great. The toboggan style ride and the two family rafts rides were excellent as well. The wave pools don't measure up to Typhoon Lagoon.
