Can anyone tell me where the day beds are located at Aquatica ?
I can't afford the cabana which is a shame, one of my Daughters and I are VERY pale and need lots of shade but the cost of the cabana is $299 and out of our reach, the day beds are $129 so am thinking this could be an option but looking at the map I can't see where they would be located.

Has anyone gotten day beds at Aquatica before? Did you find them worth it for shade? There are 4 of us but the kids are fine to share with us Parents.

OK thanks, I didn't want to be near the wave pools but it looks like the cabanas at Aquatica can't have the sides closed ?? Is this true ?

We really need full shade so I don't want to pay $299 for a cabana and not get the shade we need once the sun moves.

You are correct. The sides don't close.

This shows one of our Roa's Rapids cabanas.

Thanks, yes those don't look private at all. I just can't justify that price for what you get.

While they don't offer the absolute privacy you are seeking, they definitely still offer a level of privacy that's quite appealing. The Roa's Rapids cabanas are across a bridge that you have to show a cabana wristband to cross, so they are set away from the vast majority of the foot traffic (and park noise). That area has trees and lush landscaping, and the cabanas are spaced much further apart than the free loungers or the daybeds.

The cabanas also include rental towels, a large locker (conveniently located right inside the cabana), a refrigerator, 12 bottles of Dasani water, seating for 4 (2 loungers and 2 chairs), and the ability to have food delivered to you by an attendant. There' are also outlets to charge your devices. Those inclusions are all comforts we REALLY enjoy (over and above having our own reserved space). I wasn't super thrilled with the $199 price tag that we paid for our upcoming March trip (too many years of grabbing them for $99 or less during the office season has spoiled me lol), but in comparison to the Disney waterpark cabanas, it's a steal.

$199 isn't too bad, for may they are $299 so I just can't justify it. I know the inclusions but think I may just get a day bed instead of the cabana. The shade isn't as good but it's a lot cheaper.
The food delivery doesn't apply to us as we have the all day dining (I got it at 1/2 price for black friday) and you can't use that for some silly reason with the delivery or in the app - which is silly IMO.
If we end up overheating we will just leave, we haven't really paid for our Aquatica tickets as they are included with our Discovery Cove tickets so thought we would give the park a try as we haven't been there before.
