I was just looking at the cabanas, why is there such a high cost to add extra people? $15 per person? That raises the cost for me from $50 to $80. Do they add anything extra to the cabana to reflect the extra cost?

I know they would have to provide extra towels (you get 4 for the base price, I am assuming they would add additional towels for the supplementary guests).

An all day cabana rental for six guests (which includes rental towels for everyone, a large locker inside your cabana, your own fridge, 12 bottles of Dasani water, and 20% off all retail purchases) for $80 is a STEAL in comparison to cabana rentals at either Disney waterpark ($345.06 including tax, regardless of the season!!) or even Wet 'n Wild.

We have rented cabanas at Aquatica on each of our visits, and they are worth the price you are seeing and more. I think your price for six is excellent.

I am guessing yes.....because our cabanas (in Cutback Cove & on Roa's Island) have all only had two loungers and two chairs. Supplementary guests would require that additional seating be brought in.

One of my daycare kids will be in Orlando for a few days before they go on DCL. I'm going to get the SeaWorld with Aquatica bonus AP (just need to purchase this weekend) and have been trying to get them to think about joining my niece and I at Aquatica since I should be able to get the bonus free one day ticket (September perk) and half off of the other one day passes.

You have me convinced that a cabana is the way to go so for at least one of our two days at Aquatica I will get one. We can probably get away without one if we do the all day dining.

Had convinced myself that a cabana was the way to go for our upcoming trip, went to reserve one and those that "start" at $49.99 were actually $149.99 during our stay. I could splurge for the $49.99 but don't know that I can justify $150.

Oh no. It shows as long as I do M-F then I'm good at $49.99. I don't want to book too early, I'm waiting to see if my daycare family will join us.

We'll be there on a Thursday, but it's in June, so I imagine peak season is driving up the price.

Yep, Aquatica's prices to fluctuate based on time of year and how busy they expect the park to be (weekends are often pricier than weekdays). We paid $149 for a Roa's Island cabana on May 1st (less 10% for our passmember discount), and the same cabana is $59 for our October trip.

I guess June is busier than September when I will be there. Maybe do the all day buffet so you can have a spot to get out of the sun. It should be cheaper than the cabana rental. Still need to get a locker, but it shouldn't be too expensive.
