AquaDuck question

I've heard some say yes and some say no, so it probably depends who is working the slide at the time. But when we went a few weeks ago, we didn't have any problem wearing Keen sandals. I know they don't want flip flops or some other kind of shoe that can fall off. But I don't see why water shoes would/should be a problem. They didn't say a thing about our shoes and we went several times. Then again, I wore my sunglasses too and I've heard that other people weren't allowed to wear their sunglasses either. Another case of it depends who's working.

Hi - I wore crocs on it several times and nobody said anything. I agree - it might be selective enforcement, but i think the main goal is not scratching the tubes - which is why they say no sunglasses, or water proof cameras or anything that could potentially cause damage.

Water shoes should be no problem at all!

Have fun!

My DH wore them on the AquaDuck a couple of years ago, and no one said anything. We have been told at other water parks, however, that one of the reasons they don't like you to wear them is that if they hit the side of the tube, the extra traction(as opposed to bare feet) can cause them to catch and bend your leg backward, possibly breaking it. Don't know if it's true or not--that's just what we were told once.
