I myself and a fairly big guy I'm 6'2" and weigh close to 270 and I am wry very afraid of closed in areas but I do have to say have never felt closed in on the aquaduck and have ride it many times.... Like the op said with it being clear may make a difference?? But it's fun

Not even near... Crush and gusher is way more intense.

It isn't very fast with only a few bumps that jolt you a little bit. The fastest part is the beginning when you do the loop over the ocean. The rest is more of a speed of a fast lazy river.
