My DH and I did the Aqua Seas Tour in February and absolutely loved it! There were a total of four of us (the other two were cast members and we still correspond with one of them). We started with a small "behind the scenes" tour of The Living Seas, then our guide actually took us through the attraction and explained a lot about the tanks and the research. I never realized how much research they do..WOW!
We then went into a lounge-like briefing room where the rules were explained and we had to sign the all-important waivers. Then came the wet suit - I'm glad we didn't have a video of me getting into the thing!!
Oh, the tank... we "oohed and aahhed" as we saw the vastness of the tank itself. Remember, they say that Spaceship Earth can fit inside it! There is a small ledge that you get into first to put on your fins and oxygen tank (I almost tipped over when they put the tank on because I didn't know it was so heavy). They say that the water is only 78 degrees, but I won't really know. I was so excited and had so much adrelin flowing that I didn't feel how cold the water was. Once all the equipment is on, they take a digital picture and let you swim for 30 minutes. You float on top of the water but you still have full scuba equipment on...we waved to the people eating their lunch at the Coral Reef, and also to the people just going through the attraction. Words cannot express how awesome this was!!
After our swim, we took hot showers and met back in the lounge where we were given our souvenier picture, a T shirt and a soda.
We loved it and highly recommend it to anyone!! Hope this helps...sorry, I can't help you with your other concerns..
