Aqua Duck on Fantasy

Wondering if anyone can give me information on the Aqua Duck on the Fantasy. We are sailing March 19th, Star Wars Day at Sea. My son, age 9, can talk about nothing but the Aqua Duck!
Tips about what time of day to ride?
Age Limits?
Is there a spot you recommend to sit if your child is riding it with a group of friends where you can keep an eye on them?
Any help, suggestions, or information is greatly appreciated.

Not really "age" limits, but height/age limits:


Once they start up the stairs to the loading area, you really can't see them, unless you see them float by in their raft.

Depends on the age of the "taller" child and the age of the "under 54" child. As well as how tall the younger child actually is. Minimum height to ride (with another person) is 42".

OK thanks. My daughter is 9 and 52", her cousin is 11 and 58", I guess we will wait and see.

My 10 year-old (over 54") was able to ride with his 8 year-old cousin (under 54"), so I think your two would be fine to ride together.

The entrance and exit to the AquaDuck is actually on deck 12 and there are lounge chairs up there to you can sit there to watch them, I highly recommend you riding it too if possible, it's tons of fun!

We always go on the AquaDuck after dinner (early seating) and can go time and time again with little to no wait. Usually after about 5 or 10 times I get cold and let the kids continue while I go grab more food and watch a movie on Funnel Vision. After all, by then it is 2 hours after dinner so I need cookies, fries, and hot dogs.

The absolute *best* time to ride AquaDuck is while everybody else is on Castaway Cay or in another port. It's deserted.
