My roommate was telling me this morning that even if you live in the same apartment complex(like I live in Chatham and I have friends over for longer than 1am that are also from Chatham) She was telling me that it is still a terminable offense, or that I could get in trouble. From my knowledge and what I remember learning from that darn housing meeting, it's only outsiders(non residents of that apartment complex) that you have to sign in that you could get in trouble for.

I have been here since August and I've always thought that was the way it was. So, current or former cp's what's your take on it?

When I was there last spring, I lived in Chatham and we had guys sleep over from chatham... we had inspections early one of those mornings and the inspector just made sure that the guys had a chatham ID and it was all good. We did it all the time and it was never a problem!

Things might have changed though since last year. :)

Is it a BIG deal, no. If your roommate complains can it get you termed, possibly, or it is possible you'd have to move. The rule is in place for the connivence of your roommates... just like you wouldn't appreciate people over and partying all hours of the night if you worked the next morning.

The housing is a public area you must share with others and that is why they have the curfew in place. Many people treat it like a private residence, which is why the number one reason people get termed is housing related.

My apartment had no problem when others had people over it was just part of the agreement we made during the housing meeting, be quiet and respectful of early mornings (we posted our schedules so we knew if someone worked early).

Thanks so much! That is what I was thinking. It hasn't even been at my apartment, I was over at someone else's, so I don't know why she was complaining. *shrugs* You guys always help out! :D
