Hi !

I´ve just heard that the APs will go up in price beginning at the summer season 2015 (April 2015).

The Dream will be around 500 Euro, Fantasy 400 Euro and Francilien ca. 300 Euro !

:scared1:

Any news about that rumor ??

:scared1:

I hope not these will be the last APs we have if that the case and we will be back to a once a year low season trip !!

And add a rumor about canceling the offer kids up 12 twelve go for free...

I heard this a few months ago, when a rumor began that gate prices would be increased be to in line with the Disneyland Resort in California where APs are around $500 - $700.

There is also a rumor that on-site Disney hotel room rates will change to a per-person per night rate for room only bookings and not the per room rate we have now.

So it would be cheaper to buy a package which includes your tickets than by an AP and add people to the room, as you would have to pay a charge for everyone in the room, plus room tax.

I hope it wont go ahead... I understand they are business and need to make monies but that's more than double they cost now :scared1:

Oh well, it looks like I might not be going back in the summer to renew my AP then. What with that and probably having to sell my shares I doubt I would be returning after my Easter trip. I think this will put off a lot of loyal customers. We can only travel at peak times when hotel package prices are at their highest, so I guess we will be returning to Florida instead where we will have a longer holiday.

On a German forum but I do not know if this source is reliable.

I've seen this rumour from a number of separate sources now, so it might actually be happening. I guess we will have to wait until April or the AGM in Feb to see what happens, but I might just renew my AP by post before April just in case.

Take no insult from this but I hope your source is wrong! This would put an end to my trips too. I know it's a loophole we have all been using to our advantage and that Disney are bound to do this in a bid to boost revenue but I don't want my happy little addiction to be put in jeopardy!

Problem is it's appearing on a number of different forums and all from different sources within DLP. Lefts hope it's just one of those things they don't actually go ahead with.

We know DLP read all the fan forums, blogs, TA and FB pages. This could be a deliberate leak to gauge the reaction from the fan base.

I don't really believe it to be honest.
It might reach that price at one point, but I don't think they will up the price with 300€ in one go.

However, I've always said I'm willing to pay a maximum of 500€.
So even if this is true (which I highly doubt, but for argument sake let's say it will)...I'm still going to buy an AP.
I visit DLP every month, so for me 500€ would still be acceptable.

I see that in California there is a residents rate. I would imagine that they would do the same here. Maybe go back to the days when a Francilien was only for the Idf.

We paid 169€ for our AP's this year through a CE rate. If these stopped and there was no special rates for residents, I'd go and get one anyway.

I'm there once if not twice a week and can even go on foot if I wish so I'd get my money worth :)
