AP's through 2016!!

Couple of things.

First off, OP, I think you did a great thing by buying your APs now before three more years of increases. If you know you're going to go, then you can count the money you just spent as an investment and the RoR will be high. This is doubly true if you have kids, who just had a huge price increase up to adult prices.

Second, this works for the OP because there are years in between visits. Keep in mind that for most, the renewal discount savings will probably be greater than the money saved by purchasing future vouchers now.

We have a few days left on our old 10-day Non-expiring Hopper passes and just bought new 10-day Non-expiring hoppers before the price increase.

On a typical trip we'll hit the parks for 4 days so we're covered for 3 more trips. Since we go to WDW every 18 mos or so we should be okay for a couple years.

That is about as far out as we plan.

We did this, too, back when we went once every couple of years for about 3 days at a time. It worked out to be the best price per day rather than having to buy 3 day tickets every time we went. One thing we did also was add the water park option onto the tickets. So now my wife and I have two non expiring ten day tickets with no park days left but a total of 16 water park days left. So these next 16 visits are essentially free because what we would have paid for our four visits to the water parks paid for the add on option each time.
