We have AP's that have already been activated. We bought our daughter the child one, as she was 9 years old during the trip that we activated it. She will be turning 10 before our next trip. Do we need to do anything about this? I read somewhere that either Disney or Universal let you exchange it for the adult one without charge, but I'd rather not swap it if I don't have to - as then she'll have to do the fingerprint and that slows us down. (I had trouble with my fingerprint several times on our last trip when we did Hogwarts Express, so t could potentially slow us down more than expected).

I wouldn't mess with it. You're fine with what you have now.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure they weren't going to force us to change her to an adult ticket. We wouldn't want to find out at the gate that we need to go to ticketing to change that.

They won't, my son used his pass after he turned 10. The only reason he has to use his fingerprint now is that his pass become unreadable by the scanners and I had to get a replacement for it.

I'm in same position op, hadn't given it any thought. Upgraded our tickets to AP in October, DD will turn ten before our May trip.
