Our Trip starts 11/17, (
DVC BCV, AP vouchers, and Dining Res's all linked to
MDE months ago) I did online check in at exactly 60 days out and after "check in" I had no options for "Customize MB's" until today which is 53 days out. I have been checking daily since checking in, so I can confidently say our MB's were not active in the system. Prior to today if I clicked on the MB or FP+ links under MDE, all I got was redirected to a general info page.
Not sure if I am the exception or the rule, but as of this morning, I was able to click on the MB under MDE and I was brought to the shipping confirmation page and customize page. After doing that, I was able to book FP+'s for my entire vacation. 3 FP+'s per day, but restricted to one park per day. We have a few park hopping days (such as AK in the morning, Epcot at night) and I was not able to book FP+'s for both. Ideally, I would have used 1 of my 3 FP+'s at AK, and the other 2 at Epcot, but I can not find a way to do that in the system. please let me know if anyone else has done this successfully.
Also, in my party, we have 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. the 4 year old will be getting an AP, but he 2 year old is free entrance, so he does not have a ticket. As such, since we have only 3 AP's linked to the account, we can only book FP+'s for those people. I am assuming that we will be fine to take the 2 yo with us even without a FP.
