AP's and help

Happy Holidays, my son and I are planning on taking a trip may 23-june 1. With the addition to the PH option i was really thinking about doing the AP because of the options of maybe a short trip at Christmas 2015 or Springbreak 2016. Do they expire a year from purchase? Thanks fir any help and any ideas that might make or break an AP

One year after first use. If you have a ticket and upgrade it to an AP, it's one year from the first use of the *ticket*. So if you use it May 23 2015, you will be able to visit the parks the last time on that AP on May 23 2016.
