AP's and DDP?

We're DVC owners and AP holders and we're thinking about going during F&W, but we're not planning on staying on our points. We're planning on staying at Pop, but we aren't quite sure how or if it would work if we wanted to do the DDP. Can you do that if you book a room or does it have to be a MYW package? TIA for any help you can offer!!

The AP site lets you add the dining plan with out having to buy tickets now ...

AP holder can book a room only and add DDP without purchasing any extra tickets. The Free Dining had a restriction that even AP holder had to purchase at least a one day MYM ticket in order to get free dining, but that does not apply to non-free dining reservations.
