We are calling this our Spring Break Trip even though it is 2 weeks past our spring break...Kids are missing 3 days of school with 1 teacher workday thrown in.
Cast:
Me: Tina Age 33, and Disneyholic (this is our 5th trip to the world)
My Mom: AKA Granny, along for the ride, doesnt like to actually ride smokes her way through the world-only in designated areas of course.
Alex: My almost 14 year old try all daredevil. Favorite Ride is RnR Coaster
Adam: My 9 year old burgeoning ride junkie, but he still has a long way to go Favorite Ride is BTMRR
Nathan: My 7 year old, the baby. He shops his way through the world with an occasional ride sprinkled in. Favorite Ride is Astro Orbiter
Magical Express Trip was uneventful. We waited 5 minutes for the bus and we were on our way. This is probably the only picture of Granny the whole trip. She does not like photos to be taken of her. ME stopped at Poly, GF, WL before arriving at CR
I did not take as many photos this time as I have in the past not sure why, I guess harder to do when it is just the 5 of us. I did take advantage of every photopass person we came across.
We arrived Thursday April 15th staying at Contemporary-Tower-MK View. We are here for 4 full days in the park, leaving on Tuesday April 20*BOO HISS*
I had hoped for an 11th floor odd number room as I heard these had great views, but did not specifically request anything. We received Floor 11, Room 4741. WOOT, starting out great.
We headed up to the room. Some photos of the room and the view.
It was a little chilly for me, but the kids wanted to go swimming. They loved the pool, slide and hot tub.
The Pool Slide
We ate at the Contempo Café. I had the Flatbread Pizza, very good. The kids all had cheeseburgers and Chicken Nuggets. No pix of food, ever I can hardly get pix of children if I started taking pix of food I think they would mutiny.
We headed upstairs and watched Wishes from our Balcony, COOL, the kids loved it. Thought it was great that the Special channel 20 piped in the music. Settled in to bed Nathan and I fought for our spot and won the bed closest to the sliding doors so we could view the castle at night. Granny got to sleep with Adam (AKA-the one who doesnt kick) Alex got the day bed all to himself because who wants to sleep with a stinky teenager (none of us)
Our plan this trip is to smell the roses (a little) do all our favorites and maybe some new things but not to sweat the small stuff.
