April Vacation weeks

Alright, what are the different April vacation weeks for 2005 in the Northeast?
Usually NH has a different week off from the rest of the area...I'm just trying to figure out if that's true for next year as well. LOL. Yup I'm spoiled-we've had lower crowds in the past, since we had a different week off.

Manchester School District is April 25th-April 29th next year. As I would assume most of NH.

Yup, we've got 3 school districts in our house (I get bussed to Manchester for high school, stepsis and sis at a school in town, and mom's a teacher in yet another district) and we're all that week.

I believe you are correct. That's the week we're off in MIlford too.

Upstate NY is 4/16-4/24.

New York City public schools are out April 25-29. I'm trying to decide if I want to do another trip to disney or take a cruise.

Most schools in NJ have the week before Easter or the week after. It looks like Easter is March 27th in 2005.

I'm surprised so many schools in the NE have late April breaks!

South Shore (Quincy) Mass. is the week of April 18th-22nd.

Most of Northern Virginia has either the week before Easter or the week after Easter so that would be March 21-25 or March 28-April 1.

The New England schools have a week off at the end of February and a week at the end of April every year. They don't usually adjust for holidays either the way some school districts around the country do. Which means sometimes we get vacation over Easter, and sometimes we don't. Actually most of the time we don't. It's been like this as long as I've been in school-likely a lot longer.

We bought annual passes this past trip in April which expire 4/21/05. We're off that week but we're going a little earlier and taking the kids out of school 1 1/2 days early. Has anyone booked there flights for next year yet? We booked because we wanted specific dates and times. I've never planned a trip so far in advance before. I'm a little nervous something better might turn up, but my flights have already gone up $50 per ticket since I booked a week ago. Maggie
