April trip - what to bring?

What is the weather like in April we will arrive April 6th. Planning on summer wear, but does it get cold at night. Do we need jackets, slacks and sweatshirts? Advise please.

Hi!! We go every April and for the most part it is an absolutely beautiful time of year to go. It usually mid 70's - 80's. Low humidity. However, last year it was unseasonably hot last April and we had many days in the 90's. We always pack summer clothes and bring one pair of pants and a lite jacket like a windbreaker or sweatshirt. We very rarely have ever needed them. Nights are warm too. But I usually will bring a jacket with me in the evenings because some of the restaurants can be cool.
