April Trip--GF Villas & AKL...How to break it up

Hi Everyone,
We will be visiting the World again in April and this time doing our first split stay. We plan on arriving April 24th and staying until May 1st. The first stay will be at Grand Floridian Villas (our home resort). We also would love to go to AK to either Jambo House or Kidani for a few nights.
My questions are:
1. Jambo or Kidani...are they both similar or is one 'better' than the other? Planning on a Savannah View Room--either Studio or One Bdrm.

2. would you recommend 2 nights or 3 nights at AK? I have GF booked for 24th until 29th but I'm willing to re-arrange.

If you book a studio at AKV, go with Jambo House. If you book a one bedroom at AKV, go with Kidani. You'll get two bathrooms at KV in the one bedroom.

We will also be there late April into beginning of May, starting off at VGF (non-home resort for us) for 4 nights and then heading to Jambo for four nights. I agree...Jambo for studio, Kidani for 1 or 2 bedrooms. They are close enough to walk back and forth to/from and there is also a shuttle that runs about every 15 - 20 minutes between the buildings.

I would generally prefer a minimum of 3 nights in a location.
With 2, you are settling in before the 1st night, and starting to pack up before the 2nd night, so it's hard to get into full enjoyment mode.

We did a similar split stay this past summer! We did 4 nights at GFV 1BR (standard) then a 1 BR savannah view at Jambo for 2 nights. I agree with the above poster about 2 nights being rushed. This next year, we are going to split our 6 night stay up to 3/3 each (Poly/BWV next year).

Also agree on 1BR in Kidani - we wished we would've chosen Kidani (the 2 bathrooms would've been nice). After staying at GFV (which is so luxorious and spacious), the single bathroom at Jambo was a downgrade.

Overall we loved our GFV/AKV split stay though!
