I am super pumped to be returning to my home park! After a very wonderful WDW trip last month, I was left feeling the slight tug on my heart strings...craving a slice of my little Disneyland Park :)

My birthday is at the end of March. I wanted to plan a trip, but my DH wasn’t that into it (since we just got back from WDW), so I asked my sister (practically begged her...what is wrong with people?!) to go with me and our kids. Then, much to my surprise, my mom says “I want to go! Oh and I’ll pay for it!” WHA?!

So, we have 4 nights booked at DLH in a 2 bedroom suite. It’ll be me, my mom, my sister and our kids (ages 10,10,8 and 7).

I feel so out of the DL game...so a few questions. I can add club level to a suite upon arrival right? Should I request a certain tower to be close to lounge?

Any word on when WOC will be back? Hopefully by early April? And PtN? Will F! Still be going on? Probably huh?

Sorry, I’m so excited!

Congratulations on a new trip -- sounds like lots of fun!
No official word yet on an exact return date for WOC, only "sometime in 2019." PTN ends Nov. 7th. No official word on the future of that parade at DLR. F! should be going on, but check the entertainment schedule closer to your dates, about 6 weeks out, for more information.

That's great....and bonus for you that someone else is paying for it.
We will be there in April too. DH's birthday is in April

FUN!!! Adventure Tower is where the lounge is; you can request the lounge floor but much of that floor is taken up with Signature Suites so there aren't many regular suites to be had. I've gotten one, though, so I know there are some! Not sure about 2-br (ours was 1-br). But that would be the most convenient tower for concierge.

Last January I went for a birthday trip and we had a 1-br on the top floor of Frontier. It was fabulous! Those have balconies and the view was amazing. We didn't add concierge but we did have a kitchen, which was cool.

I’m a little bit worried about crowds in April. Not really for myself because I can manage crowds but my mom and sister seem more bothered by them. The way that Easter falls this year, it seems like a lot of schools are taking spring breaks that don’t align with the holiday. Ours always has but this year our spring break is the first week of April. So technically we’re going during Spring Break. I checked the AP block outs and it appears their “spring break” is the week leading up to Easter. So we’ll see! Hoping for the best!
I hope hope hope that PtN is back. I finally got to enjoy it last year with the dessert party and I fell in love with it. I would love to see it again!!
WOC, unless it’s a new a show, I could take or leave. I’ve been lucky enough to do the dessert party multiple times and have seen a few variations of it. If they came back with a new show though, I’d love to do the DP again.
F! I have never seen. Are they still doing the dinner package where you can actually sit and eat while watching? I know the view wasn’t fantastic but it’s more about comfort and convenience for others in my party.
Thanks everyone!!

Spring Break is really like 4-5 weeks long at DLR. I wouldn’t stress too much over the specific week. Yes Spring Break can be a crowded time but you typically get full operating hours and weekday nighttime entertainment plus Food and Wine Festival. If you hit the parks early every day to take advantage of the low crowds in the mornings and take afternoon breaks at the hotel I think you’ll find the crowds perfectly manageable.

The dinner package is the RBT F! Premium Dining Package. This dining package can only be reserved by phone. As you mentioned, the view isn't the greatest, especially if you aren't seated in the first row. But it is the only F! dining package that comes with actual chairs, so that's a plus.
