We are going on our First Disney Trip in April, and I have been planning pretty much all of it. I am so excited and want to do so much, but am afraid I have over-planned. I subscribed to Ridemax, so I am hoping that will help us to see/do most of what we really want to. Do you think this itinerary is too much? And what do you suggest for meals, cause I don't have any plans for that at all.
Sunday:
Fly out at ten am and get to Orlando at 1pm
We are staying off location at the Sheraton Vistana (free timeshare for us)
I don't have anything planned for this night, because I am not sure how tired the boys will be. I figured we could just relax by the pool and get a good nights sleep. Plus we will be hitting a grocery store as well since we will have a full kitchen.
Monday:
MK at RD. DH wants to stay all the way through until Wishes that night.
Tuesday:
AK at RD. Stay until we have seen everything we want to, which is quite a bit and I wanted to try Flame tree for lunch I think.
We had pondered doing a character breakfast at Tuskerhouse before the park opens but I just don't want to have exhausted cranky kids (and husband
).
Since AK closes early I thought that would be a good time to relax by the pool @ resort..
Wednesday:
My kids are really excited about the water parks. How long do you normally stay at the water parks?
The plan is to sleep in a bit (if needed) and then go to BB and then maybe DQ in the evening.
Thursday:
DHS with Fantasmic that night.
Friday:
TL and DTD in the evening
Saturday:
Epcot and WS (this is what I am excited for) and finish off our trip with Illuminations. I also thought it would be fun to go over to the Beaches and Cream for the Kitchen Sink. It is our last day after all.
Sunday:
Pool at the resort in the am and then fly home in the afternoon.
We are not buying the Park hopper, but we are buying the Waterparks and more option.
As you can see I have not planned any ADRs, partly because I can't choose what would be best, and because I didn't want to be tied down to certain time frames. Do you think that it is a mistake to only do CS? Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday we should be able to eat a big meal (dinner) at the resort.
Any suggestions on dining or schedule or pretty much anything would help out. My biggest concern is not that we see and do everything, but that everyone has a great time, is relaxed and comfortable and experiences the magic.
