April Park Hrs - How do you plan?

I’ll be in Orlando for a few days in mid April, staying at the Gaylord Palms and was looking to do one day at the parks. I’ll have my sister and mother with me, so looking for a chill non-rope drop day.

However, with the reduced hours it makes it tough to plan for two parks in one day. I’d like to do Epcot from 11-3 and then hop over to MK, but with the posted 6pm close time at MK I’m not sure it’s worth it.

I understand that they’ve been updating park hours a couple weeks before, but have there been instances where there have been no updates and the times have remained what they were originally set as? Hoping MK will be extended until 8 to make the trip worth it, if not we’ll prob just stick to Epcot for the day.

i really doubt 6:00. I’d plan for 7:00 or 8:00.

I expect the hours will change, but nobody knows at this point.
With current hours, would agree MK first, then EPCOT. If hours change, maybe reverse.

I'm going near the end of April and we decided to make lunch table service ressies and not dinner. That way if the hours don't extend we can just go back to the resort and eat there or order delivery and if they do extend then we have more mark time and will just eat a quick dinner!

It's too bad they can't extend the hours sooner. When we went in November it was about 2 weeks before our trip when they added like 1 hour to AK and MK, but EPCOT and HS never changed.
