April or May?

Which is better weather wise and crowd wise?

I'm not sure which is actually better, but if I had my choice I would go early May.

I voted "pretty much the same".

I've gone in late April/early May for the past 3 years (this will be my 4th).
2004 - went end of April
2005 - 1st week of May
2006 - 2nd week of May

In April, the crowds were a little bit lower..but the weather was cooler.
In May, slightly bigger crowds, ....but warmer temps.

We stayed for 9 days each trip & it only rained once each time! Unbelievable!!

The first week of May should be great.
This year, we're going May 11-19.
We would've gone the 1st week except several factors were working against us this year (MIL is coming with us & her b-day is during the 2nd week, Mother's Day is during the 2nd week, DD12 has a field trip the 1st week, etc.).

**We always make sure that our trip is planned for at least 2 weeks after Easter. I've read many times to avoid the 2 weeks before & after Easter due to crowds.

I didn't vote because we have never been at that time of year, but I wanted to add that I think that Easter is in March next year, so you should be OK with either.

We are going May 9-13th. Looking forward to just the kids and I over Mother's Day. No sharing this year for me! I have never been to Disney this time of year before but wanted to stay away from the school breaks. I'll let you know!
