We are about to book a trip and were going to book for April 18th - 25th. My husband has mentioned changing it to the middle of May. Would there be much of a difference with weather etc? Thanks!

Be warned that is the week of Massachusetts school vacation and attendance is high that week. I would look into www.touringplans.com for estimated crowd levels.

We went the first week of May crowds were good but, the weather was extrememly warm. I am talking 95° all week.

Good luck on your plans.

We just went this year the first week of May and the crowds were so much less than April and the weather was warm, but I just thought how much difference can a week make in that??

The parks the week before and the week after Easter are very busy. Easter is on April 8th this year. Spring break during March and April very in different parts of the country. (we are first week of April) Parks are busy but not like Easter. Our family has been 3 times in May and love this time of year. It is hot but not so humid and the crowds are manageable. I would chose May.

I love the first part of May. We hit the flower and garden show, Mothers day and my DS and DD's birthdays. the weather is great and the crowds are low.
