April/May special events?

We always visit in the springtime. We are considering early May next year. We have been there many times and the only "special event" then is Star Wars weekends. I love what I am hearing about September, with the Playhouse concerts and free dining. Does anyone know anything neat that happens sometime in the spring? I would love to plan around something substantial like that.

NO free dining in April for us but I loved they have the flower and garden at Epcot and concerts.

Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival happens from last week of April until first week of June (usually a total of about 7 weeks). They have quite a few kid's activities during the Festival plus gardening demos, etc. A lot of work goes into the landscaping at Epcot during this time.....specialty shrubs, etc. Also, the Flower Power concert series at America Garden (as the name suggests oldies from the 60's......always a lot of fun) We've seen Orleans, Gary Puckett, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Arlo Guthrie (don't know your age.....maybe none of these even sound familiar to you!!!) The weather alone is what makes me think about going back again at this time of year. Very little rain if any, no hurricanes, hot enough for the pools and waterparks, but not as hot and humid as the summer months, after the spring break crowd has passed through. And the flower and garden show and the flower power concerts is an added bonus!
