April/May discount released

FYI: I just called to check availability at POFQ for 5/10-14 and they don't have any rooms available with the BUC rate during those dates. We have POR booked w/AAA for $140/night so we would have only saved a few cents if we used the room only code.

From what I could tell online the buc code was saving 15% on the Moderate hotels. The aaadiscount is 15% so it should work out the same anyway.

I just tried BUC for 5/10-/5/13 for AKL and WL. NO luck:confused3
I hope that travelocity deal holds out till I finish saving! This is a last minute trip and I can't do this much for the total room for another week...I would love to splurge on this.... AKL or WL, which is better?

Never stayed at AKL but love WL, good location, boat to MK, bus ride to other parks. Nice themeing.

Queenof2princesses: I would try again for AKL or WL. I called yesterday around 3pm EST and there was availability showing at AKL for 5/10-5/14 (standard rooms only) using BUC, but when the CM tried to book it, she was given an error message. She said that they had been having trouble with their system all day and that she had to contact guest services directly. Initially, she put me on hold but she felt bad that it was taking so long, so she confirmed my home number and called me back about 15 mins. later with my reservation. Give them a call again today, the CM you were talking with might not have wanted to deal with the computer glitch...good luck!

NEW!!! May Magic Your Way Package Discount

Travel Dates: April 14 - May 23

Discount Code: ZHD - May Magic Your Way Package without Dining

ZHE - May Magic Your Way Package with Dining

Room only code is BUC

I got the code on DIS..it was a general public code so I didn't see a problem with posting it to let people know I was able to use it. It's only good for the package including dining. You can also go to themouseforless.com and get the same code.

The computers were down for a couple hours tonight, and when I finally got through at around 4 PST, there was a long wait on hold.

On the other hand, I was able to switch my dates by a week (from 5/5 - 5/12 to 5/12 - 5/19) with the code and dining plan, and the cost stayed the same. Maybe that opened up a room at AKL for someone else. :)

you're calling 800-828-0228, right?

Nope, I call the 407 number for WD Travel. I don't pay per long distance call on my cell phone, and it seems like usually the waits are lower on that number. On the other hand, with the new codes, having the reservation system down for a couple hours yesterday seemed to jam everything up!

I called last night and was able to apply the BUC code to my May 13-19 reservation at POP. Saved $100.00, which isn't huge, but makes me :yay:

We will be in the World from 4/28 to 5/5. It took our mei travel agent 4 calls to find the availability she was seeing in her system, but she got us the upgrade from POR to AKL for $250. We had the original package w/ the upgraded tickets. We did give up our waterparks (not an issue for us with four year old girls), but we kept the parkhoppers and dining plan. So..... 7 nights, DDP, parkhoppers for 2 adults and 2 four year olds plus insurance for $3150. Not too bad in my book! FWIW - we had already done final payment.

We're 45 days out today until my first trip! :cool1: :cheer2: :goodvibes

We have a ressie at BCV from 5/1-5/6 (split stay at GF 4/28-5/1). I bought got the 7 day upgraded tickets with the GF ressie, but wanted to see if I could make the Beach Club ressie cheaper with the ZHE code, which I found out about here from you good people! The CM told me that I had to have a pin number to use that code. From reading this entire posting, I don't believe that she was right. Any thoughts? I called back the next day when I saw the BUC on Disney's website. I called again and was told I could use it, no pin needed, but there was no availability. I am going to keep on trying. The CM I spoke to yesterday said if it does become available (the room only), I can add 1 day park tickets so that we can still have the DDP. Does that sound right?

BUMMER:sad1: Just got off the phone with a very nice CM-no rooms available at the Poly for my May travel dates with the ZHE code. We already have ressies for the FQ with a AAA discount but had her check with that code & there was only a standard room left-which is fine-the price came in at $10 cheaper than what I already paid. I'm waiting to call & have them tell me that I can have the Poly for a nice cheap price:rotfl2: A girl can dream!! Her telling me there wasn't any availibilty makes life & my bank account a little bit happier. Someday we'll get to the Poly. Just got to get lucky with a nice code:flower3:

Boooo! No discount for me. We're checking in on 5/25, 2 days too late!

It seems to me like the code rooms are getting hard to come by. I was able to get the package code with tickets only applied to my previous package (I had WL booked for 5/18-5/21 with the old free water parks & hopping. By dropping the water parks and adding just hopping and getting the room discount (the new package) I was unable to book WL, but could actually get CR wing for ~$60 cheaper. I actually added an extra day to the tickets for $200 more than my old WL package price, if this makes sense. :) I have tried daily to get the BUC code added to my one night Pop reservation for our arrival night with no luck whatsoever. I remember the old days when you could find code rooms weeks after the code was released. :) Guess this means that it's going to be a busy summer!

Hi guys, I would LOVE to stay on property with a room that has queen or king beds, proably not Music one. We are going May12-19. When I prized tickets for my family 2 adults and 1 child the tickets were almost 1000.00 for hopper, waterpark, no expiration. I hear folks talking about an upgrade. If there are ANY codes and suggestions on how to stay on property around 160 with the cost of tickets, please please I beg, let me know. My trip off property seems to be running 87.00 a night and then 1000.00for tickets. Thanks

Anyone been to Disney quest? How long should we allow time to go there.

Where are you getting your tickets? at disneyworld.com a 5 day hopper/wp/no expiration is about 991pre tax (so that is what I was thinking you wer talking about for 1000). with tax that would be 1050. On undercovertourist.com those same tickets are final price (free shipping) 1020.

why no expiration? that option is adding alabout $170 to the cost of a 5 day ticket. If you are worried that something might happen and you wont use all your days, you can always add the no expiration after whatever has occured. within 14 days of first use, make sure you do it before leaving disneyworld.

We don't park hop, do waterparks or disney quest for various reasons so we save another few hundred there. We might would if they were free but we dont want to pay for it.

How old is your child? although several people have said they did like disneyquest with their young kids we didnt. There wasn't much they could do. We wont do it again till they are teenagers.

To get a queen or king bed I think you would have to go to a delux hotel. King beds at value/mod have a room occupancy of 2 (unless your child is under 3, they usually allow one child under the age of 3 in excess of the room occupancy). You are paying 87 offsite? onsite rack rate at a value is 99 per night (111 with tax). A Moderate is 185w/tax. There is a code BUC for room only res (similar deal for packages) that can get you about 15% off your room. which makes a value about 84 (94.50 with tax) a night and a moderate about 157w/tax. If you can't find availability for that code, aaa normal discount (if there is availability) for value or a moderate is 15% in regular season. If you have to pay for a membership you will still come out ahead membership will cost you somewhere around $50 and even on the value to discount adds up to $116 so you would still be saving over $50 and have that membership for the whole year. The aaa discount can be booked directly through aaa or disney. You dont have to purchase the membership until after you get your booking.

I wanted to say thanks for posting this code. I called Disney and got a very rude CM but she got my the 15% off package at Pop for our stay. We our AP holders but wanted the DDP, so this worked, We saved $135 but at least its something. We are going May5-13:cool1:
