Today we checked out of the Hard Rock Hotel before we did we had more smoothies and a doughnut at Emack & Bolios. We headed out on the I4 going in the wrong direction and got as far as the Mall of Millenia before turning around, she driving was not our strong point. We headed to the Premium Outlets and shopped a little bit brought some stuff in Nike and Sketchers before heading to Downtown Disney, see it was easier to get there as Disney is sign posted. It was very busy at DTD but we were able to get a lovely parking space away from any other cars so we didnt hit them LOL why dont they have valet parking here???
We shopped a while in the World of Disney and spent loads and got a lovely lithograph (which we managed to get home in one piece). We had sundaes at Ghiradelli using the buy one get one free voucher yum .much better when one is free. We looked around some more shops and especially the pin shop and saw some pins being released in the next couple of weeks that we MUST have!
We now head to our next resort Beach Club Villas and valet park as we dont want to park the car again LOL! Our room wasnt ready so we headed to Beaches and Cream and picked up a take away to eat at the pool. We strolled around the beach club and used the house phone to check on our room at about 2.30pm. Our room was ready and it overlooked some woody area and we could see the Eiffel Tower at Epcot.
The room was light and airy I liked the decoration of the villas here. We changed and headed down to Stormalong Bay for a little swim, now I really like this pool, there is a little ledge which I like to sit on in the pool and watch the world go by.
Back to the room to change and then we met our friends in the lobby for dinner at Cape May Café. I love the way you can scribble on the table clothes here. Alan loved all of the stinky fishy food here, whilst I loved the kiddies pizza and desserts. After dinner we walked out to the marina to meet some other DISers who were sharing our Illuminations Cruise. Chandra and her family were already waiting at the marina and as soon as we arrived we set off, the boat firstly goes up towards MGM and then back down to the Boardwalk and around to Epcot.
We parked up under the bridge and we all enjoyed watching Illuminations from here. On our return to the Yacht Club Marina it started to rain a little, so when we got off our boat we said good bye to everyone and headed up to our room.
