taking the auto train down, staying at as sports. the boys will be celebrating birthdays that week and this will be hubbys first time to disney world.

Eagles, I think you're the first one saw staying the same time at the Sports as us. We are driving down on the 28th and staying until the 5th of May. Our first time at AS Sports. I'm looking forward to trying something new and think the kids will love it. DS8 and DD16 I think will have lots of fun and we can't wait!

We'll be @ POP 4/28-5/6. We are driving down from MD straight through with 3 kids!
Leaving @ 9pm, and expected to arrive around 12noon-1pm. Hopefully the kids will sleep through most of it

Hi Poohbear!
I can only say we drove from Pittsburgh last year to Universal straight through. A "must-have" is a dvd player. We actually borrowed one and bought one when a ToysRUs went out of business here. That way each kid had their own shows to pick and bring with them. DD16 and DS08, don't always like the same shows. It worked like a charm on the way down, they were actually PERFECT, something we don't often get a chance to see. Coming home however, they were back to their normal ways. But one way was very enjoyable, so we're trying our luck again and driving down to Disney in April. I wish you luck.

We'll be there from April 18 - 25. Staying at All Star Music.

Believe it or not, this trip is 8 years in the works. When my youngest was born I started talking about going to Disney whenever he was old enough.

Today he actually looked at me and told me that dreams do come true cause he's been dreaming about it and it's finally happening. His brother is just as excited. It makes the waiting worthwhile.

actually if I think about it... this trip is 30 years in the making. I remember wishing I could go when I was 10.

It's a first trip for all of us so if you see a family that is completely star struck and speechless, it's probably us. (of course I've heard that Disney has a way of doing this to all.)

We will be at the Contemporary 4/14-4/21. Our first time to stay at a monorail resort as a family! After reading about all the construction and stuff going on there I hope we didn't make a mistake by booking it! Anyone else going?
