I have two heads-ups for you all this morning:
April 1st is National Paraprofessionals Day. We heart our para!
Angel Food Ministries now carries a box of "allergy-free" food. They just started this last month, but also are doing it in April. The food is from http://www.allergyfreefoods.com/ and is allergy-friendly for "the top 8". It basically consists of 5 1-pound bags of assorted frozen breaded meats- chicken nuggets, chicken fried steak, chicken patties, that sort of thing. Costs $25 which sounds expensive except you know how much those boxes of Ian's chicken nuggets cost, and looking at the Allergy Free website is about half of what they normally charge. I bought two boxes this month to use in a pinch when I didn't feel like cooking, tried the chicken nuggets last night (looks to be about 20 of them in the bag) and DS snarfed them down.
Of course, April is also Autism Awareness Month. But we already knew that.
