We are cruising from March 28-April 1. That is the week after Easter. We will stay at WDW on the night of April 1 and fly home April 2. Our home resort is SSR. It will be me, DH, and DS (who will be almost 18; this is his graduation present).
We won't have park tickets, so my original intent was to book at OKW (have never stayed there)and just have pool time and/or Disney Springs time. Question one:What's a good request for an area close to a pool at OKW?
The wild card is the Poly. DH and I stayed there two nights in April without DS. DS loves the Poly. I know it's new, etc., but any guesses on being able to book a lake view studio for one night, 7 months out? We could easily find things to do with the pool (which was still closed when we were there), etc. If our room wasn't ready when we arrived we could spend a few hours at Disney Springs.
OKW would be our backup choice, and SSR our next backup. I could book SSR now, but have never had an issue finding something at 7 months.
