Most of the "legacy" carriers (American, Delta, United, et. al.) have availability for booking 330 (or 331) days out, so basically 11 months prior.

The time frame varies for your low-cost carriers (jetBlue, Southwest, AirTran, Frontier, etc.) but it's never earlier than 11 months out.
