april crowds?

I am starting to plan our first trip to Disney. We are going next year, April 2-6 during spring break. What are the crowds like then?

You are going to the week before Easter. Easter is Sunday the day you leave. It will be peak season. I subscribed to Tour Guide Mike, see above and I read his hints from April 06 and I plan to pretty much use his advice.

Parks will be packed, I would suggest doing most of your parks earlier in the weeks not later for when everyone will be coming in for Easter.

Maybe I should adjust our arrival to the Saturday before, March 31, and plan to leave for home on April 6. Would that weekend and early part of the week be peak also, or does it start Easter weekend? Thanks.

Ok, I just read another thread about the weeks before and after Easter. My Dh definitely would not want to go then. Because of school/work schedules my other alternative would be the first week in August. We have never even been to Florida before, so can someone tell me about crowds in August and how hot it gets there then?
