April Challange

Nice camera, Patty!! :)

My parents just left and after we dropped them off at the airport, I made a bee line to Michaels! LOL :p Anyway, I purchased some heirloom type eyelets and some gold letters and I am going to start on my grandparents pages today...we took a 4 generation picture of my grandmom, my mom, me and my daughter, so I can't wait to get going...:)

Beanie- sounds like you are going to have some very special pages of some special people! Have fun!

Well, I have completed 4 heirloom pages, which came out great! I have a 2 page layout on one side and 2 page layout following that...The first one is of my Great Grandparents on my Grandfathers side...the next page is of my Grandparents when they got married...They came out great! :) I also completed Andrew's School picture layout, complete with class picture, so another 2 page layout!

Brings me to 6 pages so far this month! Not bad for me considering it took 2 days just to figure out my layouts for my grandparents! LOL

:):)

Well - I worked very hard on a two page spread and still haven't finished it ( A LOT of eyelets - and I can't find my hole punch in the mess I can my scrap area!)
But I took 2 rolls of pics with the new camera and I was SO EXCITED to scrap so I got another 7 Pages done! I played with the camera the first day and ended up using the pics! DD studying....(need a pic of that since she hates it and does it as little as possible, DS in tub, pics of the Kitties, and then we went to a place called Kid City and I took a roll so I made 4 pages from that!
Now I am off to finish the other 2 page spread!
So my total as of right now is 32 -
and I am going to AC Mooore tonight! YAH
hope they have good stuff!

Beanie I would love to see youe heirloom stuff whn it is done! I love old pictures!

Way to Go Patty! Sounds like you are on a scrappin roll! I love that! I haven't done anything with eyelets- could you explain what it is? :)

Alice-28
Eyelets- sound worse than they are -
You make a hole in the paper using an eyelet punch and a hammer then you put the eyelet in place, flit the page over, use an eyelet setter to hammer the back so it goes flat permenantly adhereing it to the page -

They are great for adhereing vellum!

I'll post my pages when they are done!
Patty

You are all being so productive!
I have been so sick that I haven't done one page this month.
Hopefully now that I am feeling better, I can get back in the swing of things!!

I managed to get 10 pages done last weekend and thought that was a pretty good start. No time at ALL this week, and tomorrow is booked solid. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can maybe finishe the 2 page spread I have started on Sunday but it is looking bleak.

Deb

I am so happy:D :D :D , I finished 12 pages last night. Those are the first pages I have done this month. Hopefully, I will have more to report later on in the weekend. Have a great day everyone!

I just got my prize for winning the March challenge! It was so cool! Thanks Piper!!! She included some darling Lady and the Tramp paper and I had never seen before, fun stickers, cool pirate die cuts, and lots of other great stuff! What a motivator to get out my stuff and scrap some more! Keep scrapping!! And take lots of pics this holiday weekend!

Sounds like a great package, Alice! I am at 8 pages for the month...it has been slow since with Easter right around the corner, I haven't had much time to do anything! Hopefully after Sunday I will be able to work more on my Scrapping!!

Patty, if I do decide to post them, I will let you know...I am not done with the entire group of layouts yet..:)

I've completed 48. This is so unbelievable for me!!

Wow 48 is awesome! I've managed to get 12 pages done. Not a wonderful start!

I have to finish off the roll I have in the camera. DD needs some of them for a science project! But that doesn't mean I'll get any more scrapped!

Deb

Here is my April count so far.......35.....I am thrilled. I had a evening crop (6 hours) and an all day crop (12 hours) so I got alot done. It would be more if I would quit getting so cutesy....lol! I am in the process of getting my 18 years old book caught up for graduation this June. Got to keep busy. I have another crop next Friday night. Cant wait. Plus the hubby is traveling again which leaves me lots of time for myself....dah...guess what I do...lol:):)

I actually did some more last night! :) My son was in the paper this week with his Kindergarten class for attending the Teddy Bear Clinic they have here...It is so cute, he is holding his stuffed "Sulley"! :) Anyway, that was a double layout, since there were 3 pictures of his class in the paper...One holding their "teddy bears", another of them watching the Xray technician take an Xray of a teddy and the last was of them in the Ambulance! It was cute and I found some great Teddy Bear Nurse Cliparts to print out last night for the pages! :)

Anyway, I got those two pages done plus another page of his class making Bird Nests out of Chocolate and Chow Mein Noodles...They did those yesterday afternoon and I stopped in to take pictures of them! :) It was fun!

So this week, I am up 3 more pages for a total of 11! :)

Here are the Bird Nests that the kids made yesterday! Melted Chocolate, Chow Mein Noodles and Jelly Beans! It was alot of fun!
