April at the Fort?

We are ready to start planning our second trip to the Fort. Actually, I have been planning our return trip since the day we left but now I have the go ahead from DH to make reservations, etc. It's funny how we compare every campground we stay at since our Fort trip... to the Fort.

I would like to take the kids out of school for the least amount of days as possible. I just received the school schedule for next year. Unlike previous years when Spring Break was in March, it is scheduled for April 20th - April 24th this next school year. From what I read, they say that is a high volume time due to Spring Breaks. However, aren't most school Spring Breaks done by then?

Has anyone been to the Fort at that time? Is it safe to plan it for that time?
Am i wrong in thinking most Spring Breaks will be done by that time, or is there going to be mobs of people??

I appreciate any and all input. I am getting the "Fort Fever" bad....

peak season ends at the end of March, so last week of April is regular season. We have been in May. It was busy, but not CROWDED.

That is the first full week after Easter week so it could still be crowded.

We are in Maine, so I don't know how much it really effects Disney, however, I do know MANY families going down this year. That is our vacation week. I considered taking the camper down this April, I have family who will be there, but decided no because of possible crowds. But then again, we are use to going when it is somewhat dead so April would be busier for us. Well, I hope my senseless rambling didn't confuse you even more!

We went last May. The crowd levels were not bad until Memorial Day Weekend. That weekend and after, crowds were considerably higher.
It looks like, unless I want to pull the kids out of school, we will have to deal with crowds.
