Hi all! I'm well on my way with packing. DH has all his stuff sitting in the living room ready to go. Lol. Question: How did you find out your dinner rotation? Do you have to be a gold castaway member? I'm a silver one. I looked on the Disney cruise website but couldn't find any thing. Thanks in advance for an answer.

I booked online also and do not know my dining rotation. I just called DCL and they are not able to tell me my dining rotation, they say I will receive it when I receive my KTTW cards.
I know some people request to be in a certain dining room on formal night, that is how they know their rotation ahead of time. Not sure how the guarantee works.

Also, there will NOT be a character breakfast on this cruise!

My DH loves to deep sea fish and we wonder if anyone else on the Fantasy April 6 sailing would be interested in a fishing port adventure?

Although you may not to get your dinner rotation. At this point you still can let them know what what restaurant you want to be in a specific night. They will try very hard to do that it this point. They will begein the tentative table assignments in the next week. I have never had a problem getting a sepcific restaurant on a specific night.

I also remember being told that on embarkation day, to go to the same lounge where you could get on Palo waiting list ... and make the request to change your rotation (if it still matters)!

Welcome Aboard! If my DH and two DS's were sailing on this trip ... they would definitely be interested in a fishing trip. Something to keep in mind for next time!!

I have been visiting the cruise site everyday even though I had heard that when you sign up for a Category VGT, Guaranteed Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah you don't hear until 16 days before...25 days until the cruise.

WDW in 30, we were late for the FE list also, if you want to swap state room numbers and ages of kiddos, we would love to make it fun! I have been compiling my own items for my kids to enjoy, pjs, sand shovels, glow in the dark fun etc. Getting so excited.. our boys still don't know what we are doing in FL!!

We are getting so excited, too. We are leaving in two weeks, spending a week in West Palm with my in-laws and then driving up to the port on the 6th! Suitcases are out and ready to be filled!

I made a countdown chain for the kids to tear into - they loved helping me make it. I have most of my FE done.

My biggest problem is that every day I want to go shopping for more and more cruise related stuff! I think my husband is going to have to put my credit card on ice! I just can't seem to help myself.

So, I've had to redo my entire packing list for the cruise because we have decided to fly down instead of drive. Eeek! No more overpacking for me. Of course, that's not stopping me from continuing to shop. I just bought a new dress for me, 3 new shirts for DD10, and a new outfit for DD3 this weekend. I'm kind of out of control, I think.

I'm such a dork that I've been checking on the Disney site to see if I can still book a room just to see how full the ship looks. When I checked yesterday, I was still able to get availability for 2 adults and 2 children in quite a few categories and it still showed actual rooms to book. Of course, there are some great GTY fares on there, too. I'm a little surprised that there is any availability at all. I figured it would be a packed ship.

That makes me happy to hear about the possibilty of the ship not being full! Less people means less lines to deal with .

First time on disboards. We sailed the Fantasy last April 2012 on the western cruise and now will be doing the eastern cruise! We booked a VGT just like last year. I'm amazed that this thread started even before our cruise last year! Amazing how long some have planned. I don't think I could bear waiting over a year for a trip! Due to work schedules we always do our vacas fairly last minute, 3 months or less to plan.

Anyways we will be looking forward to our second cruise. Our son will be 23 months, he enjoyed it last year and will this year. Though he won't be able to do a lot of activities I know, but this cruise is as much for me and my wife, as it will be our five year anniversary as well. We booked Palo for the occasion and look forward to it. Time is soon approaching for the trip!!

We will be flying in from MN and staying the night prior on Cocoa Beach. Looking forward to the Cocoa Pier and beach. We've had over 12" of snow this past two weeks and its been snowier than usual so really looking forward to warm weather!

Speaking for my family... I would like to think that we planned so far in advance, but the reality is we are still going to be chickens without heads as the time comes closer!
