Yes we do... we are about 15 min away and take advantage! In fact we are headed over tomorrow AM for a bit.... at least that is the plan.

WOW only 15 minutes away. Did you get to go to DL the other day? We are hoping the crowds will be low when we go in a couple of weeks.

So excited on getting closer. Worked on my FE gifts today.
still waiting for the FE that I ordered to arrive. I ordered in in January, around the 9 th from a gal on eBay. Her stuff looked really cute, and she had great feedback, I just can't imagine she gets many orders/ repeat biz, taking this long.

my month of March has gotten booked full of Biz travel. I will be on the road 12- 15 days total. At least that will keep my mind off vacation.

I am a little worried as the last week of march I have a big open house I am planning, and I will travel home Thursday night, 03/29, and we leave on Friday 03/30 evening.

hoping to not have any weather or act of man/God delays.

guess ill have to pack the week before- having a hard time not packing right now!-

So when you meet someone, and your not sure if they are on the boards- what do you say? Are you a DIS- Er?
There are so many boars, and other forums, that may or may not have FE exchanges- how do you know?
I think I'll post a picture of me and my family, so that when any of you see us- feel free to walk up and introduce your selves.

We are getting very excited! We are a group of 10 from New York and our family of 5 are platinum DCL cruisers, but we are going with close friends (also a family of 5) who will be first timers. They have never been on any cruise before...so they are excited....and scared!

My DD, Alassia, is 11 (nearly 12) and she would like to know if there are any other 11 or 12 year old girls who will be going on this cruise and are interested in emailing now so they "get to know" each other before the cruise. If anyone is interested, her email address is alang1329@yahoo.com

Anyone doing KSC the day before the cruise (4/4)? We are! Anyone staying pre-cruise at the Country Inn and Suites? We will be there from 4/3-4/5. We are also staying post-cruise at the Vistana Villages....anyone else?
We are going to the Harborside the day we are in Nassau...anyone else going there?

We told our DS today! So great excitement all round in this house! We are cracking on with our FE gifts and we also got our GTY room number yesterday, so it is all seeming really real!

I regret that I won't be able to do the FE exchange on this trip. I had really been looking forward to it; however, on top of trying to prepare for the wedding, we had a car accident this past weekend. The accident was enough to take us over the edge and out of the FE.

Please remove Elijah and I from the FE exchange...but if there is a meeting planned we would love to be there.

Hello everyone!
I have peeked periodically and through by email alerts have seen that everyone is getting to know each other. I guess I've been missing out. But, I have been busy and the cruise slipped on my priority list. (Initially booking enthusiasm followed by a long wait tends to do that!)

My daughter has been on the kids' thread periodically. I'm just posting to help her seek out like aged kids. Megan is 14 and Sarah is 12. Its seems like that age difference is a chasm! (Especially on the cruise since the age divides about there.)

I'm also looking for anyone who is going to be at WDW before the cruise. If you are, we'd love to meet up at WDW!!! I'm sure there has probably already been chat about that, but I just wanted to jump in before I sift though all the posts!

I just posted for the first time in awhile even though my DH started the thread! Others have persevered.
My daughter Sarah is 12 but doesn't use her email much. I will pass on the information. There is also a kids' thread for the cruise. Someone has posted a link but if it's hard to find, ask and I'm sure it can be reposted!

The best thing for people on this thread is to arrange a group meet on board. We've done group pictures before (on the grand staircase of the Magic) as well as meeting poolside the first day. Poolside would be good for the kids to meet each other. And an adult meet in the adults only area. But, since I don't know the Dream, this is a bit harder.

Good morning shipmates! My DW just booked us on this cruise and we can't wait! It's myself (Mike), my wife ljm23 (Laura) and our DS who is 13. This is our 9th cruise. We've done a lot of meet and greets by the family pool in the middle of the ship at 3pm. I'll organize it if everyone is ok with that idea. Anyone up for saying hi and having a drink prior to the emergency drill? We have purchased rubber bracelets in lime green for everyone in the past so we could identify each other no matter where we we We are staying at Country Inn and Suites too and probably hitting Fishlips the night before. Can't wait to cast off!

Hi, I'm Laura, MEM22's DW. We just decided to do this cruise and we're so excited . We cruised on Dream twice last year and loved it! Have never been on DCL during a holiday, should be fun. We're also doing a day at the parks on the third, I'm sure it'll be mobbed but that's ok.

We're from NY, about 1 1/2 hours north of NYC. We have another cruise out of NY to Canada in July on Magic so that will be quite a different experience and I was starting to regret not having a warm sunny place to look forward to, but now we have this, so this cruise will be just the thing.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
