April 5,2003 Who Else??

I know I have asked before, Hoping to find some friends for my kids on this trip, Daughter age 11, and son age 13. Or any other families that will be going during that week.. thanks......

Well I guess I will have an easy time making ressies for Palo and the Spa with only my family going.. lol... Maybe kinda lonely walking around the boat with no one else there.... Do you think the first week of April is a slow time???

Hey Wenpop,

we are with you - we have a daughter 10 (will be turning 11 next June) and a son 12 (will be turning 13 next early May - he will opt to go to the teen club I'm sure). This will be our second eastern Magic and we are really looking forward to it!

Well thank goodness we won't be alone.. lol.. My daughter will turn 11 on Christmas eve, and my son will turn 13 on Dec 29th So maybe the kids can get together and meet each other on the ship. I also have a 2 year old and a 5 year old who will be going with us. My 2 year old will be 1 month away from being 3 and I hope I can get him potty trained before then.. And my 5 year old will be 6 in Oct... I am so looking forward to this cruise, this will be my first cruise in 7 Years.....

We are going too!
We will be first-time family cruisers. We have an eight year old girl and a five year old boy. We hope to make afriend for our boy, so that he will be more comfortable in the clubs from time to time. Its our ten year anniversary so it would be nice if he would go to the clubs once in awhile.

We can't wait, its seems so far away !

Well Hopefully our kids can meet on the cruise and not be lonely, Hopefully the clubs will keep them busy for an hour or two a day, We are planning on staying together as a family as much as we can. My 12 year wants to check out the both clubs since he will barely be 13 when we go.

Just checking to see if anyone else was going, Apirl , 2003!!! I'm getting excited!! I was so excited I had to schedule a Disney Trip for December.... I think I am brain washed!! LOL!!!! Have a magical Day!!!!

It seems, that many of you will not be going the week of April 5th, is that a good thing? Or do ya'll know something I do not know. IS it crowded during that time?? Does it rain too much? Is it too cold? Just checking because I thought I would see a lot more people going during this time? Did I Pick a good time to go???

I was wandering the same thing !!! I don't think there are too many schools out on Spring Break that week. There was a thread out a few months ago that talked about Spring breaks in many states; no one mentioned that week. We have to pull our kids out of school for the trip. Alot of schools either breaks in winter or wait until closer to Easter. Hey, maybe it won't be a full ship and we will all get upgrades Ha ha !!

Hmmm, an upgrade to a category 1-3 would be nice - I'm not picky!

That week happens to be spring break here in Mid-Michigan - although other schools around the state are the week before, during or after Easter.

And Wenpop - we are going to WDW in December - the 19th though the 27th or so - staying at AKL. When will you be at the world in December?

We will be at Port Orleans Riverside Dec 1st through 8th. The week is after Thanksgiving and we are hoping that it will not be really crowded. I can't believe we are doing 2 Disney things this school year, It just worked out great when I heard about the discounts for Disney this year. Have a magical Day!!
