April 4th - 8th - Highs and Lows!

Cross-posted so apologies if you've read this elsewhere. We are back from a wonderful five day trip to DLP, staying at the Sequoia Lodge. This was our 6th trip and we had a fantastic time! Full trip report to follow but just a few highs and lows.

Highs:

Dreams! It is just spectacular - we loved it.
Phantom Manor - a family favourite.
Spendng time together as a family without internet connection!
RC Racer (but also a low for DS!)
Friendly CMs.
Delicious hot chocolate.
Having a bit longer there so being able to choose different restaurants etc.
Lots of time to take photos.
Getting the indirect Eurostar home - so much pleasanter than the crush for the direct service.
Our guided tour.
The parks were pretty empty, to our surprise - we rarely queued for longer than 10 minutes.

Lows:

I wasn't well - had a stinking cold and did struggle a bit.
It was COLD - although I seemed to find it colder than everyone else! But at least it didn't rain!
Didn't make it to Blue Lagoon - I had really been looking forward to that.
Lots of eating places were shut, although only one that we had planned to go to.

We won't be back for a while, so it was great to have made so many fab memories this time! Watch out for the photo-heavy trip report to follow!
