I know it is early - but I need a place to watch my countdown, countdown!

Our family of 4 will be on this cruise in 2 Category 11's.....

Looking forward to seeing just how many DISSERs we can get on this cruise!!!

Please post if you are going to be on this one!

I haven't oficially pulled the trigger....but I an getting close to doing it for that week!! I don't know if I can justify almost 3000.00 more than if I return at the end of Feb.

For anyone thinking about this cruise - I learned one trick.

If you are traveling with 4 people. It is cheaper to book and additional cat 11 cabin than to have all 4 in one cabin. We ended up with 2 cat 11's for our family - total cost for 7 days after the cedit for booking onboard during our last cruise is under $3800.00

Just an FYI!

Trekker, I will check that out. 2 cat.11's that is.

Thanks
Joanna

It is only less (or really about the same) amount of money if you get the two $200 room credits for rebooking while onboard.

OK Trekker, I just checked it out. It is cheaper to do. Just ran it by DH and he liked that idea.

Since I rebooked a single room on board, will they give me two $200 credits? One for each room? If I change it?

Also, having an inside cabin scares me, BUT...With 2 rooms it may not be that bad.

If I book 2 cat. 11 connecting rooms but at guarantee status (just assuming they are sold out) will I be assured to get connecting rooms?

Joanna

There are no cat 11 connecting rooms, just next-door-neighbors.

KPG...YOU JUST BROKE MY BUBBLE!!!

NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO. I THOUGHT I HAD IT WORKED OUT.

How old are your kids? How many are you travelling with ? Last trip we had an outside cabin and we all slept in the same room (obviously!) me, DH, DD6, and DS 8. Next time we have also booked two cat 11's. I have no idea where we'll sleep but I know at least one adult will be with each kiddie.

There will be 4 of us. myself, DH, and 2 DD's 12 and 8. Maybe i'll have to go for the category 8 and get one room. Have to mull it over, am currently booked for the 3/13/04 cruise, but with the state tests and such, am waiting for the school calendar to come out.

Joanna

We have 4 traveling 2 adults DS 16 and DD 13

We are putting kids in on cabin and DW and I in the other. They are right next door - should work good for us....

When I checked it out - 2 cat 11's were $100.00 more $300.00 more than 1 cat 11 - so with the $200. credit per cabin it works out to $100.00 less for us.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

So, Trekker, how was your solo trip over the long weekend. Did your back get sunburned again? Hi to Cindy, Josh and Katie.
