Thank you for doing this. Seems what I have on my list to book tonight is still available. Good luck to everyone who is booking tonight, I hope you get what you are looking for. :)

Good luck to all of the Silvers booking tonight!
The last time I looked Hilo was the only port which had some excursions sold out, all of the Palo High Teas were listed as sold out(but I bet they were never opened at all and Disney is waiting to open them), brunches were sold out on most days, there were more Palo Dinner options available than Brunches. I'll check later to see whats current and let you know.

As to the High Teas, they definitely opened them as we're booked on Saturday, May 12th. Hopefully they'll open more slots for those who are yet to book.

Happy Goofy - sending you good vibes and best wishes. :grouphug:

Welcome - tink&cinderella!

We watched the History Channel's Pearl Harbor tonight. Interesting, we cannot wait to visit the memorial.
I watched this as well, it was very interesting and I found out a couple of things I didn't know.

OK, just checked the web site.

In O'ahu:

O'ahu Haunted Tales Tour
:sad1: Darn, we were hoping for this one.

Thanks for sharing this. The Hana Cave Quest was one of the tours that we were pondering, but had not made up our mind about this. We are not booking excursions for probably another two weeks anyway so a lot can change between now and then.

In Oahu we have decided to do our own thing. We came across this excursion online and this sounds right up our street:

Thanks for the link, they have a zip line that my 9 year old DS can do, which Disney requires them to be 10

Secret Mickey

If you have ever participated in Secret Santa, then you have a good idea what this is about. You will be allocated a family or an individual and it is then your task to spoil them rotten during the cruise. The budget for this is $25 to $30. This does not have to be anything faqncy. During the cruise, you should drop a little something off for your Secret Mickey 2 or 3 times. This can be a note, some candy, a souvenir, a magnet, etc. On the last sea day there will be a reveal session and during this, you should give your Secret Mickey a slightly bigger present.

You can sign up for Secret Mickey through the following links:

Invidual

Scavenger Hunt

There has been a little change of plan due to the sheer number of people signing up for this. Rather that me printing all the Scavenger Hunt packs, which would take up a significant part of my luggage allowance, I will email this as a PDF file to everybody signed up. Then you can print your own and bring it on the cruise.

Please fill out the below form:

A big Your Welcome, to everyone who said thanks for posting the sold out excursions.:goodvibes

It's a bummer to find out that the High Teas had been opened and were sold out from the Platnums. Hopefully some will be available when we get to the ship.

Again, good luck to all who are booking tonight.

We've never done the Palo High Tea. Do those of you who have done it recommend it? What do they serve? TIA. :flower3:

We love it. First you get to choose your tea. They have a good selection of teas and infusions. They are served in a proper tea pot with a strainer. Then they bring out a selection of finger sandwiches. Next up are scones with clotted cream and raspberry and strawberry preserves. Then there is a multi-tiered cake stand with all kinds of cakes and the final treat is a trifle.

Here is a link to the relevant post of my trip report from October, that also contains photos of some of the offerings:

mike super will be on our cruise! It will be lavenous!

For everyone that gave me your name for the pre-stay at the Double Tree, I have you down. For those that still want to book a room at the Double Tree please let me know as I still have some rooms available or can get more rooms at the lower rate if I add some now. I also have planned a Disney "Minnie Meet" at the Double Tree at 8 pm on the 28th.

I haven't been on here that much lately, so I apologize in advance if I'm asking questions that already has been asked. I know about the Champagne girls; scrapbooking and jewelry making but I'm wondering if there is anything special planned for the guys.

In the past we have had wine tastings, beer tastings, martini tastings and rum tastings. Has anything been planned to do that again?

I am planning to get my FE gifts this week. Has it been decided if this is going to be done in groups and if so, how many to a group; and who decides who is in the group? Are they going to be done individually? How many children are going to be on the cruise and what are the ages? I like giving kids FE gifts.

Can't wait to see everyone. :grouphug: CYA Real Soon.
